Provided are an artificial intelligence (AI) system using a machine learning algorithm like deep learning, or the like, and an application thereof. A robotic cleaning apparatus that generates map data includes a communication interface comprising communication circuitry, a memory configured to store one or more instructions, and a processor configured to control the robotic cleaning apparatus by executing the one or more instructions. The processor is configured, by executing the one or more instructions, to control the robotic cleaning apparatus to: generate basic map data related to a cleaning space, and generate object information regarding at least one object in the cleaning space, the object information being generated based on information obtained by the robotic cleaning apparatus regarding the object in a plurality of different positions of the cleaning space, and including information about a type and a position of the object.

La présente invention concerne un système d'intelligence artificielle (IA) utilisant un algorithme d'apprentissage automatique tel qu'un apprentissage profond ou similaire, et une application correspondante. Un appareil de nettoyage robotisé qui génère des données cartographiques comprend une interface de communication comprenant un circuit de communication, une mémoire configurée pour stocker une ou plusieurs instruction(s), et un processeur configuré pour commander l'appareil de nettoyage robotisé en exécutant la ou les instruction(s). Le processeur est configuré pour, en exécutant la ou les instruction(s), commander l'appareil de nettoyage robotisé afin de : générer des données cartographiques de base associées à un espace de nettoyage, et générer des informations d'objet relatives à au moins un objet se situant dans l'espace de nettoyage, les informations d'objet étant générées sur la base d'informations obtenues par l'appareil de nettoyage robotisé et relatives à l'objet dans une pluralité de positions différentes de l'espace de nettoyage, et comprenant des informations liées au type et à la position de l'objet.
