Abstract

A method for processing a video signal and an apparatus therefor are disclosed. Particularly, a method for processing a video signal on the basis of history-based motion vector prediction can comprise the steps of: constructing a merge candidate list on the basis of neighboring blocks of a current block; adding history-based merge candidates of the current block to the merge candidate list when the number of merge candidates included in the merge candidate list is less than a pre-defined first magnitude; adding a zero motion vector to the merge list when the number of merge candidates included in the merge candidate list is less than a pre-defined second magnitude; acquiring a merge index indicating a merge candidate, which is to be used for inter prediction of the current block, in the merge candidate list; generating a prediction sample of the current block on the basis of motion information of the merge candidate indicated by the merge index; and updating a history-based merge candidate list on the basis of the motion information.

L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un signal vidéo et un appareil associé. Plus particulièrement, un procédé de traitement d'un signal vidéo sur la base d'une prédiction de vecteur de mouvement basé sur un historique peut comprendre les étapes consistant à : construire une liste de candidats à une fusion sur la base de blocs voisins d'un bloc actuel ; ajouter des candidats à la fusion basés sur l'historique du bloc actuel à la liste de candidats à la fusion lorsque le nombre de candidats à la fusion inclus dans la liste de candidats à la fusion est inférieur à une première amplitude prédéfinie ; ajouter un vecteur de mouvement nul à la liste de fusion lorsque le nombre de candidats à la fusion inclus dans la liste de candidats à la fusion est inférieur à une seconde amplitude prédéfinie ; acquérir un indice de fusion indiquant un candidat à la fusion, qui doit être utilisé pour une inter-prédiction du bloc actuel, dans la liste de candidats à la fusion ; générer un échantillon de prédiction du bloc actuel sur la base d'informations de mouvement du candidat à la fusion indiqué par l'indice de fusion ; et mettre à jour une liste de candidats à la fusion basée sur un historique sur la base des informations de mouvement.

본 발명에서는 비디오 신호를 처리하는 방법 및 이를 위한 장치가 개시된다. 구체적으로, 히스토리 기반 모션 벡터 예측을 기반으로 비디오 신호를 처리하는 방법에 있어서, 현재 블록의 이웃 블록에 기초하여 머지 후보 리스트(merge candidate list)를 구성하는 단계; 상기 머지 후보 리스트에 포함된 머지 후보의 개수가 미리 정의된 제1 크기보다 작은 경우, 상기 현재 블록의 히스토리 기반 머지 후보(history based merge candidate)를 상기 머지 후보 리스트에 추가하는 단계; 상기 머지 후보 리스트에 포함된 머지 후보의 개수가 미리 정의된 제2 크기보다 작은 경우 상기 머지 리스트에 제로 모션 벡터를 추가하는 단계; 상기 머지 후보 리스트 내에서 상기 현재 블록의 인터 예측에 이용되는 머지 후보를 지시하는 머지 인덱스(merge index)를 획득하는 단계; 상기 머지 인덱스에 의해 지시되는 머지 후보의 모션 정보에 기초하여 상기 현재 블록의 예측 샘플을 생성하는 단계; 및 상기 모션 정보에 기초하여 히스토리 기반 머지 후보 리스트(history based merge candidate list)를 업데이트 하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
