An image decoding method according to the present specification comprises the steps of: deriving transform coefficients through inverse quantization on the basis of quantized transform coefficient for a target block; deriving modified transform coefficients on the basis of inverse reduced secondary transform (RST) of the transform coefficients; and generating a reconstructed picture on the basis of residual samples for the target block on the basis of an inverse primary transform of the modified transform coefficients, wherein the step of deriving the modified transform coefficients is characterized in deriving 16 modified transform coefficients by applying a transform kernel matrix to 8 transform coefficients in a 4x4 region of the target block.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de décodage d'image comprenant les étapes consistant à : dériver des coefficients de transformée par quantification inverse sur la base d'un coefficient de transformée quantifié d'un bloc cible ; dériver des coefficients de transformée modifiés sur la base d'une transformée secondaire réduite inverse (RST) des coefficients de transformée ; et générer une image reconstruite sur la base d'échantillons résiduels du bloc cible sur la base d'une transformée primaire inverse des coefficients de transformée modifiés, l'étape de dérivation des coefficients de transformée modifiés étant caractérisée en ce qu'elle consiste à dériver 16 coefficients de transformée modifiés par application d'une matrice de noyau de transformée à 8 coefficients de transformée dans une région de 4x4 du bloc cible.

본 문서에 따른 영상 디코딩 방법은 대상 블록에 대한 양자화된 변환 계수들을 기반으로 역양자화를 통하여 변환 계수들을 도출하는 단계; 상기 변환 계수들에 대한 역 RST(reduced secondary transform)을 기반으로 수정된 변환 계수들을 도출하는 단계; 상기 수정된 변환 계수들에 대한 역 1차변환을 기반으로 상기 대상 블록에 대한 레지듀얼 샘플들을 기반으로 복원 픽처를 생성하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 수정된 변환 계수들을 도출하는 단계는, 상기 대상 블록의 4x4 영역의 8개의 변환 계수들에 상기 변환 커널 매트릭스를 적용하여 16개의 수정된 변환 계수들을 도출하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
