An image decoding method carried out by a decoding device, according to the present document, comprises the steps of: receiving a bitstream including image information; generating a restored picture on the basis of the image information; deriving, as a boundary subjected to deblocking filtering, a boundary of a coding sub-block of a coding block in the restored picture corresponding to an NxN grid; and deriving a modified restored picture by carrying out deblocking filtering on the boundary subjected to deblocking filtering.

Un procédé de décodage d'image mis en œuvre par un dispositif de décodage, selon la présente invention, comprend les étapes consistant à : recevoir un train de bits comprenant des informations d'image ; générer une image restaurée sur la base des informations d'image ; dériver, en tant que limite soumise à un filtrage de déblocage, une limite d'un sous-bloc de codage d'un bloc de codage dans l'image restaurée correspondant à une grille NxN ; et dériver une image restaurée modifiée en effectuant un filtrage de déblocage sur la limite soumise à un filtrage de déblocage.

본 문서에 따른 디코딩 장치에 의하여 수행되는 영상 디코딩 방법은 영상 정보를 포함하는 비트스트림을 수신하는 단계, 상기 영상 정보를 기반으로 복원 픽처를 생성하는 단계, NxN 그리드(grid)에 해당하는 상기 복원 픽처 내 코딩 블록의 코딩 서브 블록의 경계를 디블록킹 필터링 대상 경계로 도출하는 단계 및 상기 디블록킹 필터링 대상 경계에 대한 디블록킹 필터링을 수행하여 수정된 복원 픽처를 도출하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
