Abstract

A method of a transmit apparatus in a wireless communication system supporting ranging capability is provided. The method comprises: determining at least one receive apparatus of a group of receive apparatuses participating in a ranging operation; identifying a scrambled timestamp sequence (STS) physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) format 3 (SP3) ranging request reports information element (SRRR IE) for the at least one receive apparatus of the group of receive apparatuses; and transmitting, to the at least one receive apparatus of the group of receive apparatuses participating in the ranging operation, a ranging control message (RCM) including the SRRR IE using an in-band mechanism or an out-of-band mechanism, wherein the RCM including the SRRR IE is transmitted in a time-scheduled ranging operation.

L'invention concerne un procédé d'un appareil de transmission dans un système de communication sans fil prenant en charge une capacité de télémétrie. Le procédé consiste : à déterminer au moins un appareil de réception d'un groupe d'appareils de réception participant à une opération de télémétrie; à identifier un élément d'informations de rapports de demande de télémétrie (SRRR IE) de format 3 (SP3) d'unité de données de protocole de couche physique (PPDU) de séquence d'horodatage brouillée (STS) pour lesdits appareils de réception du groupe d'appareils de réception; et à transmettre, auxdits appareils de réception du groupe d'appareils de réception participant à l'opération de télémétrie, un message de commande de télémétrie (RCM) comprenant l'IE SRRR à l'aide d'un mécanisme intra-bande ou d'un mécanisme hors bande, le RCM comprenant l'IE SRRR étant transmis dans une opération de télémétrie programmée dans le temps.
