In this thyristor starting device, an inverter converts DC power given from a converter via a DC reactor to AC power of a variable frequency and supplies the resulting power to a synchronous machine. A control unit is configured to control the inverter on the basis of the phase control angle. A voltage adjustor is configured to adjust the induced voltage of the synchronous machine by supplying a field current to the synchronous machine. When the synchronous machine is accelerating, and the rotation speed of the synchronous machine exceeds a reference rotation speed, the voltage adjustor controls the field current so that the induced voltage increases as the rotation speed of the synchronous machine rises. The control unit reduces the rate of increase of the phase control angle of the synchronous machine relative to the rotation speed comparatively with respect to when the rotation speed of the synchronous machine is less than the reference rotation speed.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de démarrage de thyristor, dans lequel un onduleur convertit une puissance CC fournie par un convertisseur par l'intermédiaire d'un réacteur CC en une puissance CA d'une fréquence variable et fournit la puissance résultante à une machine synchrone. Une unité de commande est configurée pour commander l'onduleur sur la base de l'angle de commande de phase.
