An ophthalmic device for enhancing or increasing the number of visual cues in the field of view of a patient, wherein the ophthalmic device is configured to either project light into the central field of view of the patient or deviate light into the central field of view from a direction which is outside the patient's central field of view, and wherein the projected or deviated light forms visual cues.

L'invention concerne un dispositif ophtalmique pour améliorer ou augmenter le nombre de repères visuels dans le champ de vision d'un patient, le dispositif ophtalmique étant configuré pour projeter de la lumière dans le champ de vision central du patient ou dévier la lumière dans le champ de vision central à partir d'une direction qui est à l'extérieur du champ de vision central du patient, et la lumière projetée ou déviée formant des repères visuels.
