Abstract
(EN)
A method for measuring visibility with three dimensional point data is disclosed. The method utilizes a point cloud (11) and an analysis volume (13), presenting an effective way to quantify the visibility from one point to another or on a continuous layer. Using the method, saftery and productivity can be improved in many areas, including in traffic, advertising, logging work and in military operations.

L'invention concerne un procédé de mesure de la visibilité avec des données de points tridimensionnels. Le procédé utilise un nuage de points (11) et un volume d'analyse (13), présentant un moyen efficace de quantifier la visibilité d'un point à un autre ou sur une couche continue. L'utilisation du procédé permet d'améliorer la sécurité et la productivité dans de nombreux domaines, y compris dans le trafic, la publicité, le travail d'extraction et dans des opérations militaires.
