Bearbeitungssegment (41), welches aus einem ersten Matrixwerkstoff (44) und ersten Hartstoffpartikeln (45) aufgebaut ist, wobei die ersten Hartstoffpartikel (45) gemäß einem definierten Partikelmuster im ersten Matrixwerkstoff (44) angeordnet sind und die Oberseite (48) des Bearbeitungssegmentes (41) in Bearbeitungsbereiche (51), welche die ersten Hartstoffpartikel (45) umfassen, und Matrixbereiche (52), welche aus ersten Matrixwerkstoff (44) aufgebaut sind, unterteilt ist. Mindestens einer der Bearbeitungsbereiche (51) weist gegenüber den angrenzenden Matrixbereichen (52) einen Überstand (T1) auf, der grösser als 400 μm ist.

The invention relates to a processing segment (41), which is made of a first matrix material (44) and first hard material particles (45), the first hard material particles (45) being arranged in the first matrix material (44) according to a defined particle pattern and the top surface (48) of the processing segment (41) being divided into processing regions (51) that comprise the first hard material particles (45), and matrix regions (52) that are made of the first matrix material (44). At least one of the processing regions (51) has a projection (T1) relative to the adjoining matrix regions (52) that is greater than 400 μm.
