A vacuum insulated glazing unit (1) is disclosed comprising a first glass sheet (2) and a second glass sheet (2) separated by a gap (7), with one or more support structures (8) arranged in said gap (7), and a side seal (9) arranged near the periphery of said glass sheets (2) and enclosing said gap (7), wherein one of said glass sheets (2) comprises an evacuation hole (4) and an evacuation member (6), and a sealing material (3) providing a hermetic seal between the evacuation member and said glass sheet (2), and the sealing material (3) having a sealing material surface (3a) extending between a first intersection defined between a surface (2b, 5) of the glass sheet (2) and the sealing material surface (3a) and a second intersection defined between the evacuation member and the sealing material surface (3a), wherein said sealing material surface (3a) at the first intersection has a first contact angle (A1) defined between said sealing material surface (3a) and the surface (2b, 5) of the glass sheet (2), which first contact angle (A1) is below 4 degrees, such as below 40 degrees. 1

La présente invention concerne une unité de vitrage isolé sous vide (1) qui comporte une première feuille de verre (2) et une seconde feuille de verre (2) séparées par un espace (7), une ou plusieurs structures de support (8) agencées dans ledit espace (7), et un joint latéral (9) agencé à proximité de la périphérie desdites feuilles de verre (2) et entourant ledit espace (7), l'une desdites feuilles de verre (2) comportant un trou d'évacuation (4) et un élément d'évacuation (6), et un matériau d'étanchéité (3) fournissant un joint hermétique entre l'élément d'évacuation et ladite feuille de verre (2), le matériau d'étanchéité (3) ayant une surface de matériau d'étanchéité (3a) s'étendant entre une première intersection délimitée entre une surface (2b, 5) de la feuille de verre (2) et la surface de matériau d'étanchéité (3a) et une seconde intersection délimitée entre l'élément d'évacuation et la surface de matériau d'étanchéité (3a), ladite surface de matériau d'étanchéité (3a) au niveau de la première intersection ayant un premier angle de contact (A1) délimité entre ladite surface de matériau d'étanchéité (3a) et la surface (2b, 5) de la feuille de verre (2), ledit premier angle de contact (A1) étant inférieur à 4 degrés, tel qu'inférieur à 40 degrés. 1
