Provided are an imide-terminated prepolymer, a preparation method therefor, a curable resin composition, use thereof and a dual curing method. An end-capped, imide-terminated prepolymer is mixed with at least one photopolymerizable ethylenic monomer, at least one photoinitiator and diamine, and optionally a pigment to form a curable resin composition. In a first step, irradiation is performed under conditions effective to polymerize the at least one ethylenic monomer. The irradiated composition is then heat-treated under conditions effective to cause a transimidation reaction between the prepolymer and the diamine to provide a solid polymer. When the prepolymer and the composition formed therefrom are used in 3D printing, a 3D printed article can have excellent mechanical properties.

L'invention concerne un prépolymère à terminaison imide, un procédé de préparation associé, une composition de résine durcissable, une utilisation associée, ainsi qu'un procédé de durcissement double. Un prépolymère à terminaison imide à extrémité coiffée est mélangé avec au moins un monomère éthylénique photopolymérisable, au moins un photo-initiateur et une diamine, et facultativement un pigment pour former une composition de résine durcissable. Dans une première étape, l'irradiation est réalisée dans des conditions efficaces pour polymériser ledit monomère éthylénique au moins. La composition irradiée est ensuite soumise à un traitement thermique dans des conditions efficaces pour provoquer une réaction de transimidation entre le prépolymère et la diamine afin d'obtenir un polymère solide. Lorsque le prépolymère et la composition formée à partir de celui-ci sont utilisés dans l'impression 3D, un article imprimé 3D peut présenter d'excellentes propriétés mécaniques.
