By means of effectively storing and managing a short-term reference image referenced by a currently encoded or decoded image and a knowledge image provided by the outside, the sum of the knowledge image and the short-term reference image is prevented from exceeding the size of a decoded image cache so as to ensure the availability of the reference image and the correctness of encoding or decoding. At the same time, the frequent movement in and movement out of the knowledge image is avoided so as to reduce the additional decoding capacity load for encoders or decoders caused by the knowledge image, and reduce the movement load of an encoding device or decoding device and external data brought by the knowledge image so as to ensure that the decoding device decodes a code stream in real time.

La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de codage vidéo et un procédé et un dispositif de décodage vidéo.
