Disclosed are an image coding and decoding method and apparatus, and an electronic device. When region segmentation is carried out on a CTU, for a CU containing a border of a VPDU, the CU is further segmented, along the border, into two TUs or CUs, so that limitations during the region segmentation on the CTU are less, and a concept of the VPDU is conformed to, thereby improving the coding and decoding efficiency; in addition, when the CU is segmented, along the border, into two CUs, it is easier to satisfy constraint conditions in an existing method, and since the segmentation is implicit, signalling is not required.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de codage et de décodage d'image, ainsi qu'un dispositif électronique. Lorsqu'une segmentation de région est effectuée sur une CTU, pour une CU contenant une limite d'une VPDU, la CU est également segmentée, le long de la limite, en deux TU ou CU, de telle sorte que des limitations pendant la segmentation de région sur la CTU soient moins importantes, et qu'un concept de la VPDU soit conforme, ce qui permet d'améliorer l'efficacité de codage et de décodage ; en outre, lorsque la CU est segmentée, le long de la limite, en deux CU, il est plus facile de satisfaire des conditions de contrainte dans un procédé existant, et étant donné que la segmentation est implicite, une signalisation n'est pas exigée.

一种图像编解码方法及装置、电子设备。在对CTU进行区域分割时,对于包含VPDU的边界的CU,沿着该边界将该CU进一步分割为2个TU或CU,以使得对CTU进行区域分割时的限制较少且能够符合VPDU的概念,从而提高了编解码的效率;另外,当沿着该边界将该CU分割为2个CU时,其更容易满足现有方法中的约束条件,并且,由于该分割是隐性的,因此不需要信令。
