Methods and apparatus to implement always-on context sensor hubs for processing multiple different types of data inputs are disclosed. An examples apparatus includes a first processor core to implement a host controller, and a second processor core to implement an offload engine. The host controller includes first logic to process sensor data associated with an electronic device when the electronic device is in a low power mode. The host controller is to offload a computational task associated with the sensor data to the offload engine. The offload engine includes second logic to execute the computational task.

L'invention concerne des procédés et un appareil de mise en œuvre de concentrateurs de capteurs de contexte toujours actifs pour traiter de multiples types différents d'entrées de données. Un appareil illustratif comprend un premier cœur de processeur permettant de mettre en œuvre un contrôleur hôte, et un deuxième cœur de processeur permettant de mettre en œuvre un moteur de délestage. Le contrôleur hôte contient une première logique servant à traiter des données de capteur associées à un dispositif électronique lorsque le dispositif électronique est dans un mode à basse puissance. Le contrôleur hôte doit délester une tâche de calcul associée aux données de capteur vers le moteur de délestage. Le moteur de délestage contient une deuxième logique servant à exécuter la tâche de calcul.
