Abstract

An approach for reconstructing a current Network Abstraction Layer (NAL) unit for video decoding using at least one processor includes determining the current NAL unit to be an Intra Random Access Picture (IRAP) NAL unit; determining whether a previous NAL unit decoded immediately before the current NAL unit indicates an end of a coded video sequence (CVS); based on determining that the previous NAL unit indicates the end of the CVS, decoding the current NAL unit as one from among an Instantaneous Decoder Refresh (IDR) NAL unit or a Broken Link Access (BLA) NAL unit; and based on determining that the previous NAL unit does not indicate the end of the CVS, decoding the current NAL unit as a Clean Random Access (CRA) NAL unit, and reconstructing the decoded current NAL unit.

L'invention concerne une approche permettant de reconstruire une unité de couche d'abstraction de réseau actuelle (NAL) pour un décodage vidéo en utilisant au moins un processeur, ladite approche consistant à : déterminer que l'unité NAL actuelle est une unité RAL d'image d'accès aléatoire intra (IRAP); déterminer si une unité NAL précédente décodée immédiatement avant l'unité NAL actuelle indique une fin d'une séquence vidéo codée (CVS); d'après la détermination du fait que l'unité NAL précédente indique la fin de la CVS, décoder l'unité NAL actuelle en tant qu'unité NAL de rafraîchissement de décodeur instantané (IDR) ou unité NAL d'accès de lien mort (BLA); et d'après la détermination du fait que l'unité NAL précédente n'indique pas la fin de la CVS, décoder l'unité NAL actuelle en tant qu'unité NAL d'accès aléatoire propre (CRA), puis reconstruire l'unité NAL actuelle décodée.
