Half tone offset may be utilized to mitigate signal distortion caused by DC bias within OFDM-based systems. In addition a cyclic prefix may be utilized within an OFDM-based system to mitigate inter-symbol-interference. Presented herein are techniques and methods to efficiently apply a cyclic prefix to an OFDM symbol with half tone offset for low power systems.

Un décalage de demi-ton peut être utilisé pour atténuer une distorsion de signal provoquée par un biais de courant continu dans des systèmes basés sur OFDM. En outre, un préfixe cyclique peut être utilisé dans un système basé sur OFDM pour atténuer les interférences entre symboles. L'invention concerne des techniques et des procédés qui permettent d'appliquer efficacement un préfixe cyclique à un symbole OFDM avec un décalage de demi-ton pour des systèmes à faible puissance.
