A method can include applying a first voltage to a first memory cell to activate the first memory cell, applying a second voltage to a second memory cell coupled in series with the first memory cell to activate the second memory cell so that current flows through the first and second memory cells, and generating an output responsive to the current. The first voltage and a threshold voltage of the second memory cell can be such that the current is proportional to a product of the first voltage and the threshold voltage of the second memory cell.

L'invention concerne un procédé qui peut comprendre l'application d'une première tension à une première cellule de mémoire afin d'activer la première cellule de mémoire, l'application d'une seconde tension à une seconde cellule de mémoire couplée en série à la première cellule de mémoire afin d'activer la seconde cellule de mémoire de sorte que le courant circule à travers les première et seconde cellules de mémoire, et la génération d'une sortie en réponse au courant. La première tension et une tension de seuil de la seconde cellule de mémoire peuvent être telles que le courant est proportionnel à un produit de la première tension et de la tension de seuil de la seconde cellule de mémoire.
