The present disclosure relates to a pre-5th-Generation (5G) or 5G communication system to be provided for supporting higher data rates Beyond 4th-Generation (4G) communication system such as Long Term Evolution (LTE). The present disclosure provides a method for operating a user equipment(UE) in wireless communication system. The method includes: receiving, from a base station, configuration information for a two-step random access transmission; determining a resource configuration for transmitting a first message of the two-step random access transmission based on the obtained configuration information for the two-step random access transmission, wherein the first message comprises a preamble and data; transmitting, to the base station, the first message according to the determined resource configuration; detecting a second message from the base station as a feedback of the first message; and performing a subsequent operation according to the detected second message.

La présente divulgation se rapporte à un système de communication de pré-5ème génération (5G) ou de 5G, conçu pour prendre en charge des débits de données supérieurs à ceux d’un système de communication de 4ème génération (4G), tel qu’un système d’évolution à long terme (LTE). La présente divulgation concerne un procédé d'exploitation d'un équipement utilisateur (UE) dans un système de communication sans fil. Le procédé comprend les étapes qui consistent à : recevoir, d'une station de base, des informations de configuration pour une transmission à accès aléatoire en deux étapes ; déterminer une configuration de ressource pour transmettre un premier message de la transmission à accès aléatoire en deux étapes sur la base des informations de configuration obtenues, pour la transmission à accès aléatoire en deux étapes, le premier message comprenant un préambule et des données ; transmettre, à la station de base, le premier message selon la configuration de ressource déterminée ; détecter un second message en provenance de la station de base en tant que retour du premier message ; et conduire une opération ultérieure selon le second message détecté.
