The present specification discloses an image decoding method. The image decoding method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: determining a prediction mode of a current block to be a merge mode with motion vector difference (MMVD); deriving a merge candidate list for the current block; deriving a predicted motion vector for the current block by using the merge candidate list; deriving a residual motion vector for the current block; and deriving a motion vector for the current block by using the predicted motion vector and the residual motion vector, wherein only a part of candidates in the merge candidate list may be used to derive the predicted motion vector.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de décodage d'image. Le procédé de décodage d'image selon la présente invention comprend les étapes consistant : à déterminer un mode de prédiction d'un bloc courant à utiliser en tant que mode de fusion doté d'une différence de vecteur de mouvement (MMVD); à dériver une liste de candidats de fusion destinée au bloc courant; à dériver un vecteur de mouvement prédit destiné au bloc courant à l'aide de la liste de candidats de fusion; à dériver un vecteur de mouvement résiduel destiné au bloc courant; et à dériver un vecteur de mouvement destiné au bloc courant à l'aide du vecteur de mouvement prédit et du vecteur de mouvement résiduel, seule une partie des candidats dans la liste de candidats de fusion pouvant être utilisée afin de dériver le vecteur de mouvement prédit.

본 명세서에서는 영상 복호화 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명에 따른 영상 복호화 방법은 현재 블록의 예측 모드를 MMVD(Merge mode with Motion Vector Difference)로 결정하는 단계, 상기 현재 블록에 대한 머지 후보 리스트를 유도하는 단계, 상기 머지 후보 리스트를 이용하여 상기 현재 블록에 대한 예측 움직임 벡터를 유도하는 단계, 상기 현재 블록에 대한 잔여 움직임 벡터를 유도하는 단계 및 상기 예측 움직임 벡터 및 상기 잔여 움직임 벡터를 이용하여 상기 현재 블록에 대한 움직임 벡터를 유도하는 단계를 포함하되, 상기 머지 후보 리스트 내의 후보 중 일부 후보만이 상기 예측 움직임 벡터의 유도에 이용될 수 있다.
