The present invention provides a positive electrode slurry for manufacturing a positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery, a method for manufacturing the positive electrode slurry, a positive electrode for a secondary battery, and a secondary battery, the positive electrode slurry comprising a positive electrode active material, a conductive material, a binder, an overcharge prevention agent, oxalic acid, and a solvent, wherein 1 to 2 parts by weight of the overcharge prevention agent is included when the total solids weight of the positive electrode active material, conductive material, and binder of the positive electrode slurry is 100, 0.1 to 0.7 parts by weight of oxalic acid is included when the total solids weight of the positive electrode active material, conductive material, and binder of the positive electrode slurry is 100, and the positive electrode slurry has a viscosity of 4000 to 15000 cp at room temperature.
