The present invention relates to a sound tracing apparatus and method, the sound tracing apparatus comprising: a first acceleration structure generation unit for generating a first acceleration structure of a static scene of a sound space; an intersection testing unit for detecting whether a sound propagation path is affected by performing an intersection test on each of a plurality of dynamic objects constituting a dynamic scene of the sound space; a second acceleration structure generation unit for generating a second acceleration structure of the dynamic scene after selecting, as a result of the intersection test, a dynamic object that affects the sound propagation path; and a sound generation unit for generating a three-dimensional sound by performing sound tracing on the basis of the first and second acceleration structures.

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé de suivi de son, l'appareil de suivi de son comprenant : une première unité de production de structure d'accélération permettant de produire une première structure d'accélération d'une scène statique d'un espace sonore; une unité de test d'intersection permettant de détecter si un trajet de propagation sonore est influencé en réalisant un test d'intersection sur chaque objet d'une pluralité d'objets dynamiques constituant une scène dynamique de l'espace sonore; une deuxième unité de production de structure d'accélération permettant de produire une deuxième structure d'accélération de la scène dynamique après la sélection, résultant du test d'intersection, d'un objet dynamique qui influence le trajet de propagation sonore; et une unité de production de son permettant de produire un son tridimensionnel en réalisant un suivi de son en fonction des première et deuxième structures d'accélération.

본 발명은 사운드 트레이싱 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 사운드 트레이싱 장치는 사운드 공간의 정적 장면에 대한 제1 가속구조를 생성하는 제1 가속구조 생성부, 상기 사운드 공간의 동적 장면을 구성하는 복수의 동적 오브젝트들 각각에 대하여 교차 테스트를 수행하여 사운드 전파 경로에 영향을 주는지 여부를 검출하는 교차 테스트 수행부, 상기 교차 테스트 결과 상기 사운드 전파 경로에 영향을 주는 동적 오브젝트를 선별한 후 상기 동적 장면에 대한 제2 가속구조를 생성하는 제2 가속구조 생성부 및 상기 제1 및 제2 가속구조들을 기초로 사운드 트레이싱을 수행하여 3차원 사운드를 생성하는 사운드 생성부를 포함한다.
