Disclosed is an image processing apparatus and a method of operating the same. The image processing apparatus includes: a memory storing information on at least one random patch; and at least one processor configured to: obtain correlations between a pixel block included in an input image and each of a plurality of random patches obtained from the information on the at least one random patch, obtain weights respectively for the plurality of random patches on a basis of the obtained correlations and apply the weights respectively to the plurality of random patches, and obtain an output image by applying, to the pixel block, the plurality of random patches to which the weights are respectively applied.

L'invention concerne un appareil de traitement d'image et un procédé de fonctionnement correspondant. L'appareil de traitement d'image comprend : une mémoire mémorisant des informations sur au moins un pavé aléatoire ; et au moins un processeur conçu pour : obtenir des corrélations entre un bloc de pixels inclus dans une image d'entrée et chaque pavé d'une pluralité de pavés aléatoires obtenues en provenance des informations sur lesdits pavés aléatoires, obtenir des pondérations respectivement pour la pluralité de pavés aléatoires en fonction des corrélations obtenues et appliquer les pondérations respectivement à la pluralité de pavés aléatoires, et obtenir une image de sortie par l'application, au bloc de pixels, de la pluralité de pavés aléatoires auxquelles les pondérations sont respectivement appliquées.
