Provided is a polarizing plate provided with a phase difference layer, having excellent durability despite being extremely thin. This polarizing plate provided with a phase difference layer has a polarizing plate including a polarizer and a protective layer disposed on one side of the polarizer, and a phase difference layer disposed on the reverse side of the polarizing plate from the protective layer. The protective layer is constituted from a solidified coating film of an organic solvent solution of a thermoplastic acrylic resin, and the glass transition temperature of the protective layer is 95°C or higher. In one embodiment, the thickness of the protective layer is 10 µm or less.

L'invention concerne une plaque de polarisation pourvue d'une couche à différence de phase, ayant une excellente durabilité en dépit d'une épaisseur extrêmement fine. Cette plaque de polarisation pourvue d'une couche à différence de phase comprend une plaque de polarisation comprenant un polariseur et une couche de protection disposée sur un côté du polariseur, et une couche à différence de phase disposée sur le côté inverse de la plaque de polarisation par rapport à la couche de protection. La couche de protection est constituée d'un film de revêtement solidifié d'une solution de solvant organique d'une résine acrylique thermoplastique, et la température de transition vitreuse de la couche de protection est supérieure ou égale à 95 °C. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'épaisseur de la couche de protection est inférieure ou égale à 10 µm.

非常に薄いにもかかわらず、耐久性に優れた位相差層付偏光板が提供される。本発明の位相差層付偏光板は、偏光子と偏光子の一方の側に配置された保護層とを含む偏光板と、偏光板の保護層と反対側に配置された位相差層と、を有する。保護層は、熱可塑性アクリル系樹脂の有機溶媒溶液の塗布膜の固化物で構成されており、該保護層のガラス転移温度が95℃以上である。1つの実施形態においては、保護層の厚みは10μm以下である。
