The present invention provides a broussonetine-rich stevia plant body that contains broussonetine in a larger amount compared to a wild type stevia species. Further, the present invention provides: a method for producing the broussonetine-rich stevia plant body; and dry leaves and an extract obtained from the aforesaid plant body.
