Provided is a polarizing plate having excellent durability although being extremely thin. This polarizing plate comprises a polarizer, a first protective layer disposed on one side of the polarizer, and a second protective film disposed on the other side of the polarizer. The first protective layer comprises a solidified product of a coating film of an organic solvent solution of a thermoplastic acrylic resin, and the glass transition temperature of the first protective layer is 95°C or higher. The second protective film comprises a resin film. In one embodiment, the thickness of the first protective layer is 10 μm or less.

L'invention concerne une plaque de polarisation ayant une excellente durabilité tout en étant extrêmement mince. Une plaque de polarisation selon la présente invention comprend un polariseur, un premier film protecteur se trouvant sur un côté du polariseur et un second film protecteur se trouvant sur l'autre côté du polariseur. La première couche de protection comprend un produit solidifié d'un film de revêtement d'une solution de solvant organique d'une résine acrylique thermoplastique et la température de transition vitreuse de la première couche de protection est supérieure ou égale à 95 °C. Le second film de protection comprend un film de résine. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'épaisseur de la première couche protectrice est inférieure ou égale à 10 µm.

非常に薄いにもかかわらず、耐久性に優れた偏光板が提供される。本発明の偏光板は、偏光子と、偏光子の一方の側に配置された第1の保護層と、偏光子のもう一方の側に配置された第2の保護層と、を有する。第1の保護層は熱可塑性アクリル系樹脂の有機溶媒溶液の塗布膜の固化物で構成されており、第1の保護層のガラス転移温度は95℃以上である。第2の保護層は樹脂フィルムで構成されている。1つの実施形態においては、第1の保護層の厚みは10μm以下である。
