Abstract
(EN)
Provided is a solid-state battery that has excellent cycle characteristics and that suppresses cracks caused by volume expansion/contraction. A solid-state battery according to the present invention is a laminate in which: a positive electrode layer comprising a positive electrode collector layer and a positive electrode active material layer and a negative electrode layer comprising a negative electrode collector layer and a negative electrode active material layer are formed on respective main surfaces of a solid electrolyte layer so as to hold the solid electrolyte layer therebetween; at least one ends of both the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer include one end extending to one lateral surface of the laminate and an area without an extension; and, in the outer peripheral part of the area without an extension, battery elements each having formed therein a margin layer at the same plane as that of the positive electrode layer or the negative electrode layer are included, wherein at least one end of the positive electrode layer or the negative electrode layer not extending to an end surface of the laminate includes a gap adjacent thereto.
