A method for recovering at least cobalt, among valuable metals of cobalt and nickel, from an acidic solution that is produced by subjecting a waste material containing a positive electrode material of a lithium ion secondary battery to a wet-mode treatment and contains a cobalt ion, a nickel ion and impurities, the method comprising: a first extraction step for Co recovery purpose, in which a cobalt ion is extracted from the acidic solution by means of solvent extraction and is then back-extracted; an electrolysis step for Co recovery purpose, in which electrolysis is carried out using a post-back-extraction solution produced in the first extraction step for Co recovery purpose as an electrolyte solution to produce electrolytic cobalt; a dissolution step for Co recovery purpose, in which the electrolytic cobalt is dissolved in an acid; and a second extraction step for Co recovery purpose, in which a cobalt ion is extracted from a cobalt dissolution solution produced in the dissolution step for Co recovery purpose by means of solvent extraction and is then back-extracted.

Un procédé de récupération d'au moins du cobalt, parmi les métaux précieux cobalt et nickel, dans une solution acide que l'on produit en soumettant un déchet contenant un matériau d'électrode positive d'une batterie secondaire au lithium-ion à un traitement en mode humide et contenant un ion cobalt, un ion nickel et des impuretés. Le procédé comprend : une première étape d'extraction en vue de récupérer du Co, dans laquelle un ion cobalt est extrait de la solution acide par extraction par solvant et est ensuite réextrait ; une étape d'électrolyse en vue de récupérer du Co, dans laquelle l'électrolyse est effectuée à l'aide d'une solution de post-réextraction produite dans la première étape d'extraction en vue de récupérer du Co sous forme de solution électrolytique afin de produire du cobalt électrolytique ; une étape de dissolution en vue de récupérer du Co, dans laquelle le cobalt électrolytique est dissous dans un acide ; et une deuxième étape d'extraction en vue de récupérer du Co, dans laquelle un ion cobalt est extrait d'une solution de dissolution de cobalt produite dans l'étape de dissolution en vue de récupérer du Co par extraction par solvant et est ensuite réextrait.
