This information processing device is provided with an intra-frame prediction unit which extracts a plurality of points from a reference pixel adjoining a block prescribed within an image, and calculates a linear model which predicts color information of pixels present in said block, on the basis of color information and brightness information of the plurality of extracted points.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement d'informations qui est pourvu d'une unité de prédiction intra-trame qui extrait une pluralité de points à partir d'un pixel de référence adjacent à un bloc déterminé dans une image, et calcule un modèle linéaire qui prédit des informations de couleur de pixels présents dans ledit bloc, sur la base d'informations de couleur et d'informations de luminosité de la pluralité de points extraits.
