Abstract

A holding material for an exhaust gas treatment device, characterized by: including inorganic fibers and an organic binder; having a first surface having grooves formed therein that extend in the width direction and a second surface positioned on the opposite side to the first surface; the grooves not blocking when said material is wound around an exhaust gas treatment body; and the grooves blocking as a result of said material being filled inside a casing together with the exhaust gas treatment body. As a result of the present invention, a holding material for an exhaust gas treatment device can be provided that is unlikely to have variation in local surface pressure when said material is wound around the exhaust gas treatment body and incorporated inside the casing.

Un matériau de maintien pour un dispositif de traitement de gaz d'échappement, caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend : des fibres inorganiques et un liant organique; ayant une première surface ayant des rainures formées à l'intérieur de celles-ci qui s'étendent dans la direction de la largeur et une seconde surface positionnée sur le côté opposé à la première surface; les rainures ne se bloquent pas lorsque ledit matériau est enroulé autour d'un corps de traitement de gaz d'échappement; et les rainures se bloquent suite à un remplissage dudit matériau à l'intérieur d'un boîtier conjointement avec le corps de traitement de gaz d'échappement. En conséquence de la présente invention, un matériau de maintien pour un dispositif de traitement de gaz d'échappement peut être fourni qui est peu susceptible d'avoir une variation de pression de surface locale lorsque ledit matériau est enroulé autour du corps de traitement de gaz d'échappement et incorporé à l'intérieur du boîtier.

無機繊維と有機バインダーとを含み、幅方向に延びる溝が形成されている第一面と、該第一面の反対側に位置する第二面とを有し、該溝は、排気ガス処理体に巻き回された時には閉塞せず、且つ、排気ガス処理体と共にケーシング内に充填されることにより閉塞すること、を特徴とする排気ガス処理装置用保持材。 本発明によれば、排気ガス処理体に巻き回され、ケーシング内に組み付けられるときに、局所的な面圧のバラつきが生じ難い排気ガス処理装置用保持材を提供することができる。
