The purpose of the present disclosure is to purify hexafluorobutadiene to a high purity while inhibiting the isomerization of hexafluorobutadiene. A method for purifying hexafluorobutadiene, said method comprising a step for contacting a composition containing hexafluorobutadiene with zeolite having an SiO2/Al2O3 ratio of 4.0-8.0.

Le but de la présente invention est de purifier l'hexafluorobutadiène à une pureté élevée tout en inhibant l'isomérisation de l'hexafluorobutadiène. L'invention concerne également un procédé de purification d'hexafluorobutadiène, ledit procédé comprenant une étape consistant à mettre en contact une composition contenant de l'hexafluorobutadiène avec une zéolite ayant un rapport de SiO2/Al2O3 de 4,0-8,0.
