Provided is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery having excellent low-temperature output characteristics and high-temperature storage characteristics. The non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode core; a positive electrode plate having a positive electrode active material layer which is formed on the positive electrode core and contains a positive electrode active material; a negative electrode plate; a flat wound electrode assembly in which the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate are wound with a separator therebetween; and a non-aqueous electrolyte, wherein the positive electrode active material is a manganese-containing lithium transition metal composite oxide, the BET specific surface area of the positive electrode active material is 2.0-3.0 m2/g, the total surface area of the positive electrode active material contained in the positive electrode active material layer is 70-90 m2, and the value of A/B is 0.03-0.09 (μmol/m2), where A (μmol) is the total amount of FSO3 contained in the non-aqueous electrolyte, and B (m2) is the total area of the positive electrode active material contained in the positive electrode active material layer.

La présente invention concerne une batterie secondaire à électrolyte non aqueux ayant d'excellentes caractéristiques de sortie à basse température et d'excellentes caractéristiques de stockage à haute température. La batterie secondaire à électrolyte non aqueux comprend : un noyau d'électrode positive ; une plaque d'électrode positive ayant une couche de matériau actif d'électrode positive qui est formée sur le noyau d'électrode positive et contient un matériau actif d'électrode positive ; une plaque d'électrode négative ; un ensemble d'électrodes enroulées plates dans lequel la plaque d'électrode positive et la plaque d'électrode négative sont enroulées avec un séparateur entre elles ; et un électrolyte non aqueux, le matériau actif d'électrode positive étant un oxyde composite de métal de transition de lithium contenant du manganèse, la surface spécifique BET du matériau actif d'électrode positive étant de 2,0-3,0 m2/g, la surface totale du matériau actif d'électrode positive contenu dans la couche de matériau actif d'électrode positive étant de 70-90 m2, et la valeur d'A/B étant de 0,03-0,09 (μmol/m2), où A (μmol) est la quantité totale de FSO3 contenue dans l'électrolyte non aqueux, et B (m2) est la surface totale du matériau actif d'électrode positive contenu dans la couche de matériau actif d'électrode positive.
