This energizing control device comprises: a first terminal (21) which is connected to a bus on a first power supply side; a second terminal (22) which is connected to a bus on a second power supply side; a plurality of switches (40) provided in parallel between terminals; control units (50, S11, S14, S16, S19 and S20) which control the driving of the switches); and determination units (50, S10, S12, S13, S15, S17, S18) which determine whether an ON fault has occurred in a switch. The control units hold the ON state of the first switch, which is one of a plurality of switches, for the period of time that the first terminal and second terminal are being energized, and temporarily switch to fault detection control in such a manner that the resistance value of the second switch, which is the remaining switch, becomes higher than in the ON state. The determination units determine whether the an ON fault has occurred in the second switch, on the basis of the change in the physical quantity resulting from the change in the resistance value.
