In a liquid crystal display element according to one aspect of the present invention, a pixel electrode includes first to fourth regions in which liquid crystal molecules are slanted at different orientations, and the first to fourth regions are arranged along one direction. The pixel electrode has: a first trunk section that extends in one direction along the first and second regions; a second trunk section that extends in one direction along the third and fourth regions; a plurality of first branch sections that extend from the first trunk section in a prescribed direction so as to be substantially parallel to one another; a plurality of second branch sections that extend from the first trunk section in a prescribed direction so as to be substantially parallel to one another; a plurality of third branch sections that extend from the second trunk section in a prescribed direction so as to be substantially parallel to one another; and a plurality of fourth branch sections that extend from the second trunk section in a prescribed direction so as to be substantially parallel to one another. An angle between a first branch section and a second branch section is substantially 90°, and an angle between a third branch section and a fourth branch sections is substantially 90°.

Un angle entre une première section de ramification et une deuxième section de ramification est sensiblement de 90°, et un angle entre une troisième section de ramification et une quatrième section de ramification est sensiblement de 90°.
