This variable magnification optical system (ZL) has, in order from the object side, a first lens group (G1) having a positive refractive power, a second lens group (G2) having a negative refractive power, a third lens group (G3) having a positive refractive power, a fourth lens group (G4) having a positive refractive power, a fifth lens group (G5) having a positive refractive power, a sixth lens group (G6) having a positive refractive power, and a seventh lens group (G7) having a negative refractive power, wherein the intervals between adjacent lens groups change when changing the magnification.

L'invention concerne un système optique à grossissement variable (ZL) qui présente, dans l'ordre depuis le côté objet, un premier groupe de lentilles (G1) ayant une réfringence positive, un deuxième groupe de lentilles (G2) ayant une réfringence négative, un troisième groupe de lentilles (G3) ayant une réfringence positive, un quatrième groupe de lentilles (G4) ayant une réfringence positive, un cinquième groupe de lentilles (G5) ayant une réfringence positive, un sixième groupe de lentilles (G6) ayant une réfringence positive, et un septième groupe de lentilles (G7) ayant une réfringence négative, les intervalles entre les groupes de lentilles adjacents variant lors du changement du grossissement.
