A power converter (2) comprises an arm (5, 6) in which a plurality of converter cells (7), each including two or more switching elements (31p, 31n), a power storage element (32), and a pair of output terminals (P1, P2), are connected in series. A control device (3) is configured to control the power converter (2). Each of the converter cells (7) includes a switch (34) for bypassing the converter cell (7). When detecting a malfunction of the converter cell (7), the control device (3) is configured to allow bypassing of the malfunctioning converter cell, estimate an output voltage lost as a result of bypassing the malfunctioning converter cell, and cause a normally operating converter cell to output the estimated output voltage of the malfunctioning converter cell.

La présente invention concerne un convertisseur de puissance (2) comprenant un bras (5, 6) dans lequel une pluralité de cellules de convertisseur (7), comprenant chacune deux éléments de commutation ou plus (31p, 31n), un élément de stockage d'énergie (32), et une paire de bornes de sortie (P1. P2), sont connectées en série. Un dispositif de commande (3) est conçu pour commander le convertisseur de puissance (2). Chacune des cellules de convertisseur (7) comprend un commutateur (34) pour contourner la cellule de convertisseur (7). Lors de la détection d'un dysfonctionnement de la cellule de convertisseur (7), le dispositif de commande (3) est conçu pour permettre le contournement de la cellule de convertisseur de dysfonctionnement, estimer une tension de sortie perdue suite au contournement de la cellule de convertisseur de dysfonctionnement, et amener une cellule de convertisseur fonctionnant normalement à délivrer en sortie la tension de sortie estimée de la cellule de convertisseur de dysfonctionnement.

電力変換器(2)は、2個以上のスイッチング素子(31p,31n)と、蓄電要素(32)と、一対の出力端子(P1,P2)とを含む複数の変換器セル(7)が直列に接続されたアーム(5,6)を有する。制御装置(3)は、電力変換器(2)を制御するように構成される。変換器セル(7)は、変換器セル(7)をバイパスするためのスイッチ(34)を有する。制御装置(3)は、変換器セル(7)の故障を検知すると、故障変換器セルをバイパスさせるとともに、故障変換器セルのバイパスにより消失した出力電圧を推定し、故障変換器セルの推定された出力電圧を健全な変換器セルから出力させるように構成される。
