Abstract
(EN)
In this invention we have a solar powered Unmanned Aerial Vehicle. Here we affix solar cells onto the surface of the airframe of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle and these solar cells operate within the prescribed voltage range of the electrical system of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle with the help of a voltage regulator. The total amount of energy produced by the above photovoltaic cells is typically a function of the geographical position (latitude, longitude, and altitude) or a geographical region, time of the year, atmospheric absorption and efficiency of the photovoltaic cells. The voltage regulator is designed keeping into account the above information and thus helps in charging the battery of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle in the most optimum manner.
