Abstract

A electrical switch comprising a first electrically conductive arm comprising a first electrically conductive arcing portion and an electrically conductive main portion; a second electrically conductive arm comprising an electrically conductive body portion and an electrically conductive wheel connected to the body portion by a wheel axle which extends along a wheel axis, the wheel being free to rotate about the wheel axis, the wheel being in electrical contact with the body portion; at least one of the first and second arms being adapted to be displaced relative to the other to move the switch between an open configuration in which the first and second arms are spaced apart and a dosed configuration in which the arcing portion is in contact with the wheel and the main portion Is in contact with the body portion; the switch being adapted such that as the switch is switched from the open configuration to the closed configuration the arcing portion contacts the wheel before the main portion contacts the body portion.

L'invention concerne un commutateur électrique comprenant un premier bras électriquement conducteur comprenant une première partie d'arc électriquement conductrice et une partie principale électriquement conductrice ; un second bras électriquement conducteur comprenant une partie corps électriquement conductrice et une roue électriquement conductrice reliée à la partie corps par un axe de roue qui s'étend le long d'un axe de roue, la roue étant libre de tourner autour de l'axe de roue, la roue étant en contact électrique avec la partie de corps ; au moins l'un des premier et second bras étant conçu pour être déplacé par rapport à l'autre pour déplacer le commutateur entre une configuration ouverte dans laquelle les premier et second bras sont espacés et une configuration dosée dans laquelle la partie d'arc est en contact avec la roue et la partie principale est en contact avec la partie de corps ; le commutateur étant conçu de telle sorte que, lorsque le commutateur est commuté de la configuration ouverte à la configuration fermée, la partie d'arc entre en contact avec la roue avant que la partie principale entre en contact avec la partie de corps.
