This method for generating a simulated sea-clutter data set is based on a generation module (16) integrating a first neural network and on a discrimination module (26) integrating a second neural network and implements, in a phase of simultaneous training of the neural networks, a common optimisation algorithm using training data (De) corresponding to real sea-clutter data, in order to make the neural networks iteratively and simultaneously converge in order for the generation module to supply simulated data that is increasingly similar to the training data, while the discrimination module is increasingly restrictive as to what can constitute data similar to training data. The method further comprises an operating phase that consists in producing simulated sea-clutter data from the final generation module.

Ce procédé de génération d'un ensemble de données simulées du fouillis de mer, s'appuie sur un module de génération (16) intégrant un premier réseau de neurones et sur un module de discrimination (26) intégrant un second réseau de neurones et met en œuvre, dans une phase d'entrainement simultané des réseaux de neurones, un algorithme d'optimisation commun utilisant des données d'entrainement (De) correspondant à des données réelles du fouillis de mer, pour faire converger itérativement et simultanément les réseaux de neurones afin que le module de génération fournisse des données simulées qui soient de plus en plus similaires aux données d'entrainement, tandis que le module de discrimination est de plus en plus restrictif sur ce qui peut constituer des données semblables à des données d'entrainement. Le procédé comporte en outre une phase d'exploitation consistant à produire des données simulées du fouillis de mer à partir du module de génération final.
