Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for improving the biodegradability of an organic sludge. It comprises at least two treatment cycles each of a total duration of between around 8 s and around 20 s and each comprising a first step of producing a first hydrolysed sludge emulsion in a first, reduced zone, by injecting a gas into said reduced zone, a second step of abruptly expanding the emulsion in a second zone - the expansion zone - and a third step of recovering the emulsion via a third, restriction zone.

Il s'agit d'un procédé et d'un dispositif d'amélioration de la biodégradabilité d'une boue organique. Il comprend au moins deux cycles de traitement, chaque cycle étant d'une durée totale comprise entre l'ordre de 8 s et l'ordre de 20 s, chaque cycle comprenant une première étape de création d'une première émulsion de boue hydrolysée dans une première zone réduite, par injection d'un gaz dans ladite zone réduite, une deuxième étape d'expansion brusque de l'émulsion dans une deuxième zone, dite zone d'expansion, et une troisième étape de récupération de l'émulsion via une troisième zone de restriction.
