Provided are a display device (100, 200, 300) and a control method therefor. The display device (100, 200, 300) comprises: a control apparatus (190) for converting original image data based on three primary colors of each pixel in each frame of image to be displayed into pixel modulation data based on four primary colors of each pixel; a light source system (110, 210, 310) for emitting four primary colors of light corresponding to the four primary colors, wherein the four primary colors of light comprise three primary colors of laser and a primary color of fluorescent light; and a light modulation apparatus (180, 380) for modulating the four primary colors of light emitted from the light source system (110, 210, 310) according to the pixel modulation data based on the four primary colors of each pixel in each frame of image to be displayed, thereby obtaining image light of the image to be displayed. The image is modulated by using three primary colors of laser, wherein the color gamut displayed by the laser in the three primary colors of light can completely cover the color gamut that can be achieved by a solid color exciting light source, and the addition of fluorescent light as a primary color light can reduce speckle contrast while achieving the required brightness more efficiently.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'affichage (100, 200, 300) et son procédé de commande. Le dispositif d'affichage (100, 200, 300) comprend : un appareil de commande (190) pour convertir des données d'image d'origine sur la base de trois couleurs primaires de chaque pixel dans chaque trame d'image à afficher en données de modulation de pixel sur la base de quatre couleurs primaires de chaque pixel ; un système de source de lumière (110, 210, 310) pour émettre quatre couleurs primaires de lumière correspondant aux quatre couleurs primaires, les quatre couleurs primaires de lumière comprenant trois couleurs primaires de laser et une couleur primaire de lumière fluorescente ; et un appareil de modulation de lumière (180, 380) pour moduler les quatre couleurs primaires de la lumière émise par le système de source de lumière (110, 210, 310) en fonction des données de modulation de pixel sur la base des quatre couleurs primaires de chaque pixel dans chaque trame d'image à afficher, ce qui permet d'obtenir une lumière d'image de l'image à afficher. L'image est modulée à l'aide de trois couleurs primaires de laser, le gamut de couleurs affichée par le laser dans les trois couleurs primaires de lumière pouvant couvrir complètement le gamut de couleurs qui peut être obtenue par une source de lumière d'excitation de couleur solide, et l'ajout de lumière fluorescente en tant que lumière de couleur primaire peut réduire le contraste de granularité tout en obtenant la luminosité requise de manière plus efficace.
