Disclosed are a battery housing (21) and an electronic cigarette having the battery housing (21). The battery housing comprises a first sheathing shell (211) and a second sheathing shell (212), wherein a side wall of the first sheathing shell (211) is provided with a limiting groove (2111) along an axial direction of the first sheathing shell (211); the limiting groove (2111) penetrates inner and outer side walls of the first sheathing shell (211) and an end face of the first sheathing shell (211); an outer wall of the first sheathing shell (211) is convexly provided with a guiding sliding rib (2112) along the axial direction of the first sheathing shell (211); an inner wall of the second sheathing shell (212) is convexly provided with a limiting protrusion (2121), matching the limiting groove (2111), along an axial direction of the second sheathing shell (212); a side wall of the second sheathing shell (212) is provided with a guiding sliding groove (2122), matching the guiding sliding rib (2112), along the axial direction of the second sheathing shell (212); the guiding sliding groove (2122) penetrates inner and outer side walls of the second sheathing shell (212) and an end face of the second sheathing shell (212); and when the second sheathing shell (212) is arranged outside the first sheathing shell (211), the limiting protrusion (2121) is engaged with the limiting groove (2111), and the guiding sliding rib (2112) is engaged with the guiding sliding groove (2122), such that the first sheathing shell (211) and the second sheathing shell (212) has an elastic deformation capability, thereby preventing deformation during transportation.
