Disclosed are a device and method for oxidizing an organic substance, particularly a method for preparing ethylbenzene hydroperoxide by reacting ethylbenzene with an oxygen-containing gas. The device comprises a vertical bubbling reactor (1) and a horizontal bubbling reactor (11) connected to a reaction product outlet of the vertical bubbling reactor (1), wherein the horizontal bubbling reactor (11) is internally provided with a plurality of reaction compartments (21) which are arranged along the axial direction thereof, and a liquid phase channel (22) is provided between adjacent reaction compartments (21).

L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé d'oxydation d'une substance organique, en particulier un procédé de préparation d'hydroperoxyde d'éthylbenzène par réaction d'éthylbenzène avec un gaz contenant de l'oxygène. Le dispositif comprend un réacteur de bullage vertical (1) et un réacteur de bullage horizontal (11) relié à une sortie de produit de réaction du réacteur de bullage vertical (1), le réacteur de bullage horizontal (11) est intérieurement pourvu d'une pluralité de compartiments de réaction (21) qui sont agencés le long de la direction axiale de ceux-ci, et un canal de phase liquide (22) est disposé entre des compartiments de réaction adjacents (21).
