Provided by the present application are a channel quality reporting method and device. The method comprises: a terminal indicating downlink channel quality in a MAC PDU header of a MAC PDU of an Msg3, thereby indicating downlink channel quality in the Msg3; thus, an access device may better achieve the goal of scheduling downlink data transmission according to the received downlink channel quality, for example downlink data such as a scheduling an Msg4, which may reduce resource overhead, and reduce the power consumption of the terminal. The method provided by the present embodiment improves coverage capabilities of a network and may be applied to the Internet of Things, such as MTC, IoT, LTE-M, M2M, and the like.

La présente demande concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour rapporter la qualité d'un canal. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : un terminal indique la qualité d'un canal sens descendant dans un en-tête PDU MAC d'une PDU MAC d'un Msg3, indiquant ainsi la qualité du canal sens descendant dans le Msg3 ; ainsi, un dispositif d'accès peut mieux atteindre l'objectif d'ordonnancement de la transmission de données sens descendant selon la qualité du canal sens descendant reçue, par exemple des données sens descendant telles qu'un ordonnancement d'un Msg4, qui peut réduire le surdébit de ressources, et réduire la consommation d'énergie du terminal. Le procédé fourni par le présent mode de réalisation améliore les capacités de couverture d'un réseau et peut être appliqué à l'Internet des objets, comme MTC, IdO, LTE-M, M2M, et similaire.

本申请提供一种信道质量上报方法及装置。该方法包括:终端在Msg3的MAC PDU的MAC PDU头中指示了下行信道质量,因而实现了在Msg3中指示下行信道质量,进而接入网设备可以根据接收到的下行信道质量更好地实现调度下行数据传输之目的,如调度Msg4这个下行数据,可以减少资源开销,降低终端功耗。本实施例提供的方法提高了网络的覆盖能力,可以应用于物联网,例如MTC、IoT、LTE-M、M2M等。
