Disclosed are a bidirectional self-locking device and an antenna lifting rod. The antenna lifting rod comprises the bidirectional self-locking device (100). The bidirectional self-locking device (100) comprises: a rotating shaft (120), with the surface being provided with a first thread (121); a wire twisting disc (130) being movably connected to the rotating shaft (120); a ratchet wheel (140) being used for controlling the rotating state of the wire twisting disc (130); and a pawl (160) being used for braking the ratchet wheel (140). A second thread (131) matching the first thread (121) is arranged on the surface of the wire twisting disc (130) that is in contact with the rotating shaft (120). The bidirectional self-locking device (100) provides threaded transmission between the wire twisting disc (130) and the rotating shaft (120), the rotating shaft (120) can control an axial movement direction of the wire twisting disc (130) along the rotating shaft (120) in two rotating directions, the friction force between the wire twisting disc (130) and the ratchet wheel (140) can be adjusted by controlling the pressure between the wire twisting disc and the ratchet wheel, and the ratchet wheel (140) can control the movement state of the wire twisting disc (130) in a friction manner; and when the ratchet wheel (140) is braked through the pawl (160), a moment balance is achieved between the wire twisting disc (130) and the ratchet wheel (140) and the rotating shaft (120), and therefore, bidirectional self-locking in a lifting process of a multi-stage rod body is achieved.
