A method for diagnosing a robot is provided. The method comprises obtaining a spectrum of a motion signal generated by a rotating component of the robot during operation of the robot (210); determining a frequency amplitude of a sub-component of the rotating component from the spectrum, based on a physical characteristic and a speed of the sub-component (220); and detecting a failure of the sub-component by comparing the frequency amplitude with a threshold amplitude (230). A device for diagnosing a robot is also provided.

L'invention concerne un procédé de diagnostic d'un robot. Le procédé comprend l'obtention d'un spectre d'un signal de mouvement généré par un composant rotatif du robot pendant le fonctionnement du robot (210) ; la détermination d'une amplitude de fréquence d'un composant secondaire du composant rotatif à partir du spectre, sur la base d'une caractéristique physique et d'une vitesse du composant secondaire (220) ; et la détection d'une défaillance du composant secondaire par comparaison de l'amplitude de fréquence avec une amplitude de seuil (230). L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif de diagnostic d'un robot.
