Abstract
(EN)
A method for proactive steering of client devices in a wireless network includes identifying, by a network controller, at least two radio resources in a wireless network including a first radio resource and a second radio resource; detecting, by the network controller, a client device connected to the wireless network via an established communication channel with the first radio resource; determining, by the network controller, that the client device is technically capable of establishing a communication channel with the second radio resource; and steering, by the network controller, the client device to establish the communication channel with the second radio resource.

Un procédé de commande proactive de dispositifs clients dans un réseau sans fil comprend : l’identification, par un contrôleur de réseau, d’au moins deux ressources radio dans un réseau sans fil incluant une première ressource radio et une seconde ressource radio ; la détection, par le contrôleur de réseau, d’un dispositif client connecté au réseau sans fil via un canal de communication établi avec la première ressource radio ; le fait de déterminer, par le contrôleur de réseau, que le dispositif client est techniquement apte à établir un canal de communication avec la seconde ressource radio ; et la commande, par le contrôleur de réseau, du dispositif client pour établir le canal de communication avec la seconde ressource radio.
