A saddle-type vehicle having at least one seat and at least two wheels, at least one electric motor, a motor controller, a rechargeable energy storage system (RESS) such as a battery and battery management system, at least one friction foundation or ABS braking system as a first braking system and at least one electric regenerative braking system as a second system where the two braking systems are linked to allow for simultaneously providing conventional and regenerative braking independently to the front and rear wheels of the vehicle.

Cette invention concerne un véhicule de type à selle ayant au moins un siège et au moins deux roues, au moins un moteur électrique, un dispositif de commande de moteur, un système de stockage d'énergie rechargeable (RESS) tel qu'une batterie et un système de gestion de batterie, au moins une base de friction ou un système de freinage ABS en tant que premier système de freinage et au moins un système de freinage régénératif électrique en tant que second système, les deux systèmes de freinage étant reliés pour permettre de fournir simultanément un freinage classique et régénératif indépendamment des roues avant et arrière du véhicule.
