A molecular signature of an error-prone DNA repair can be identified from an analysis of omics data set obtained from a tumor tissue or a patient having a tumor. The identified molecular signature can be associated with a causation, a prognosis, or a treatment option of the tumor, and further used to determine a treatment regimen effective to treat the tumor.

Selon l'invention, une signature moléculaire d'une réparation d'ADN sujette aux erreurs peut être identifiée à partir d'une analyse d'un ensemble de données omiques obtenu à partir d'un tissu tumoral ou d'un patient ayant une tumeur. La signature moléculaire identifiée peut être associée à une causalité, un pronostic ou une option de traitement de la tumeur, et elle est en outre utilisée pour déterminer un régime de traitement efficace pour traiter la tumeur.
