A contactless power transfer system includes an artificial light source on a surface of a stationary component targeting at least one solar cell across a distance on a surface of an opposing moving component. The contactless power transfer system enables creation of electrical power at the target solar cell. the stationary component is a cylinder comprising a center bore and the moving component is a cylinder that is within and concentric with the center bore of the stationary component. The contactless power transfer system is useful for providing continuous electrical power to an electronic component mounted on a rotating shaft.

Un système de transfert d'énergie sans contact comprend une source de lumière artificielle sur une surface d'un composant fixe ciblant au moins une cellule solaire sur une distance sur une surface d'un composant mobile opposé. Le système de transfert d'énergie sans contact permet la création d'énergie électrique au niveau de la cellule solaire cible. Le composant fixe est un cylindre comprenant un trou central et le composant mobile est un cylindre qui est à l'intérieur et de manière concentrique avec le trou central du composant fixe. Le système de transfert d'énergie sans contact est utile pour fournir une puissance électrique continue à un composant électronique monté sur un arbre rotatif.
