A shaft seal (10) for disposition between a shaft (12) mounted for rotation and a bore (14) includes a radial shaft-sealing sleeve assembly (25) rotatably mounted with an outer carrier assembly (27). The radial shaft-sealing sleeve assembly (25) includes a radial shaft-sealing sleeve (26) and a first contact exclusion lip (48). The outer carrier assembly (27) includes an outer carrier (28) with a molded seal (80) along having an outer radial section (81) of the outer carrier (28) and an elongated molded seal lip (84) extending into a chamber (79) formed between the radial shaft-sealing sleeve (26) and the outer carrier (28), a second contact exclusion lip (98), and a main pumping lip (108). The first contact exclusion lip (48) forming a dynamic seal against the outer carrier (28), and the second contact exclusion lip (98) and main pumping lip (108) forming dynamic seals against the radial shaft-sealing sleeve (26).
